Economy Tool Management
Products: ARE

Limited, TLCG (Gageware) and TLCK (TLC PC) are available for MS/PC-DOS
compatible computers. The Economy Tool Management provides the basic building
blocks of a competent tool control operation. It is ideal for the small
independent crib or satellite crib.
TLC Legacy Products: ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE, if you have one of these products call for details to upgrade. TLC, TLC Organizer and TLC Professional (Manager) 16-bit versions. The Legacy products can operate on a variety of platforms. The Legacy products provide the sophisticated tool control concepts needed for today's active tool crib. It is the ideal upgrade for the independent tool crib operation that requires complete tool control.
TLC32 Systems: Toolware32Deluxe, TLC32 Organizer and TLC32 Professional are 32-bit multi-user Tool Control Systems. They are offered with Single or Multi-User Licenses. Site Licenses are also available. They offer the ultimate in tool control techniques that are in use today or will be required tomorrow. TLC32 systems are the most economically priced Tool management Systems available today. These products can serve the small machine shop with one tool crib or the company that has several tool control information stations and requires tool management integrated among other departments.
ATMS - Advanced Tool Management System Products: are MSWindows compatible tool management systems. ATMS is available in a variety of database formats; MSAccess, MSSQL Server and Oracle. ATMS is available in a full system capability with full Kit and Assembly control or a Lite version for those who don't require kit or assembly control. Both versions can support the ITI option (Individually Traceable Items or Gage Control).
Independent Tool Code Standard (ITCS)
ITCS
is a tool numbering system designed to address tools as a machinist would, yet
be compatible with computer input techniques. An ITCS tool database and user's
guide are provided with all TLC Tool Management Systems.
TLC Features
GFI Control: - provides review frequency, history reporting, and serialization for gages, fixtures, or items requiring individual tracking and inspection at specific time or usage intervals.
Reserve/Transfer - allows tools, gages, and kits to be reserved in advance for machines, jobs, or users, allows transfer of tools from preset, shop floor, machine to machine to machine to machine, and crib to rework.
Daily Transactions - provides a chronological list of all transactions. This list is maintained in an ASCII file format for easy transfer to other shop control systems or mainframes.
Reference Files - allows information to be stored about machines, vendors, users, tools, kits or inspection procedures.
Manager Reporting - allows summary reporting for managers of tool expenditures by machine/department and jobs, scrap, rework, receiving and other intensive functions.
Advanced Kit Control - provides enhanced tracking of both the components of an assembly and the individual assemblies, comparing, storage, and communications features for tool assembly control.
TLC Integrated Preset Control - allows a tool's preset requirements to be specified within the TLC system. This feature also provides for downloading to the presetter.
Multi-Independent Cribs - allows several independent tool cribs to be accessed on a single TLC system.
Interface - vending machines, storage/retrieval systems and other interfaces are available.
